Gracias por su inter\u00e9s en convertirse en un promotores de salud certificado (CCHW) a trav\u00e9s de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Promotores de Salud de Carolina del Norte (NCCHWA).<\/p>\n

In March 2022, the NCCHWA began offering CHWs a path to professional certification through the completion of the Standardized Core Competency Training (SCCT) at several community colleges in North Carolina. To recognize the rich, lived experience and the unique and diverse perspectives from various settings, we now offer additional pathways for certification for CHWs through a Legacy Track and Advanced Levels. These pathways were developed alongside and by CHWs. To become certified as a Community Health Worker, CHWs can now select between these options to ensure they are formally recognized for their invaluable contributions to communities. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSolicitar ahora\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

Gracias por su inter\u00e9s en convertirse en un Trabajador Comunitario de Salud Certificado (CCHW, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) a trav\u00e9s de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Trabajadores Comunitarios de Salud de Carolina del Norte (NCCHWA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s). Para reconocer la rica experiencia vivida, as\u00ed como las perspectivas \u00fanicas y diversas de varios entornos, ofrecemos niveles de certificaci\u00f3n para promover el avance y las v\u00edas para los TCS en Carolina del Norte. A lo largo de los niveles se integran varios temas comunes que son fundamentales para el trabajo de los TCS: equidad racial y de salud, confianza, salud p\u00fablica y comunitaria y \u00e9tica.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

La elaboraci\u00f3n de los criterios para cada uno de los cuatro niveles de certificaci\u00f3n se bas\u00f3 en la Proyecto de consenso b\u00e1sico de Promotores de Salud<\/a> (Proyecto C3) y el Formaci\u00f3n estandarizada en competencias b\u00e1sicas<\/a>desarrollado por las Promotores de Salud de Carolina del Norte Jennifer Norville y Erica Hall, ofrecido para las Promotores de Salud de Carolina del Norte. Y lo que es m\u00e1s importante, los Trabajadores Sanitarios Comunitarios de todo el estado desempe\u00f1aron un papel clave al compartir sus perspectivas en sesiones de escucha a trav\u00e9s de las Iniciativa de trabajadores sanitarios comunitarios de Carolina del Norte<\/a>. Las competencias b\u00e1sicas se cruzaron a lo largo del Modelo Ecol\u00f3gico Social (SEM)<\/a> con el objetivo de exponer las formas hol\u00edsticas en que los trabajadores sanitarios comunitarios contribuyen a mejorar la equidad sanitaria, la eficacia en la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios y la mejora general de los sistemas sanitarios y la salud de la sociedad. El documento fue elaborado y redactado por Rumana Shams Rabbani y Abdul Hafeedh bin Abdullah con Community Healing through Activism and Strategic Mobilization. (CHASM).<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Community Health Workers can apply for any level for which they may meet the criteria and do not have to go through the levels in order. Eligibility for each track is determined by a combination of skills, training, and actual lived experience. <\/p>\n
